A friend came over and stated that I wasn't really being safe riding in a bitless bridle.
I said I think I am because my horse stops off of my seat and verbal commands as well.
I said "Just to prove it, I'll ride her in my new riding ring that has no fence around it
with only a piece of baling twine." She said "I don't want you to kill yourself, but let
me get my camera." Cachina did just what I expected. She still listened to all my aides
and backed up beautifully. We did walk, trot and canter!
