Bob and I welcome you to our farm, we love it here, and we'd love
to have you stop by and sit a spell. (Please call first to make an appointment.)

Our four horses are on a round bale, (They are vaccinated for botulism) your horse will be on square bales.
Our paddocks all have attached run in's the horse gets to choose to go in or stay out.
$600.00 per month
Full board includes hay, you provide your own supplements/grain and we will feed it for you.

Your horse will enjoy 24/7 turn-out. Rubber matted 12x12 stalls attached to barn, and run in sheds with 24/7 turn out. We have trails right out the back! No need to cross a road. Ride out to the TN Pipeline, well marked trails. Or blaze your own! Trailer parking available, bring your own farrier, or barefoot trimmer and vet, or use ours. Lighted ring is maintained and good for riding all winter long. (except for extreme circumtances like a record deep freeze) We have heated water tanks in Winter. We do not offer blanketing here, as horses are fed plenty of hay, are not locked in stalls ever, lack of movement would make them get cold. Horses are allowed to moved about, if they feel cold, they move around and warm up on thier own. We are a small barn, My husband Bob aka (Farm Boy) works every day to maintain our farm, and make sure everyone is healthy and happy. (Except for a few golf days where I'll take over).
You can bring a blanket to have on hand in and emergency situation. I have some myself just in case, but if I ever throw a blanket on it's after a bath to keep them clean for the next morning of an event. Note: We are barefoot and bitless. If you prefer to use shoes or bits with your horse, you are still welcome here. We all do what we think is best for our horses, Some of our past boarders chose to transition to bitless, and some have chosen shoes.

With a long commute Jen said goodbye bringing Pete closer to home. We miss them, but still enjoy Jen's visits to Bobcat Farm.

I board my 2 yr old Mustang filly at Bobcat Farm. She loves her home and I do as well! I never bat an eyelash when I am away as I know she is under the wachful eye of the owners. All of the horses can see each other, so it is as if they live in a herd. I can she that she (My horse) derives great comfort from that situation and it makes me so happy! I also take lessons for training (and riding) with on site trainer, Cathie Hatrick-Anderson. This ensures that my horse will have a excellent foundation as well as ongoing training/learning We have participated in on-site clinics that are held at the farm. It has been fabulous as my filly loves versatility as well. I look forward to going there and enjoy being with my horse as it is a supportive and drama-free environment!!! Jill Brag 2025

Cathie worked wonders for my mare with no ground manners! Cathie took me under her wing right away and helped me make my horse an upstanding citizen. My horse started enjoying working and enjoying learning so many new things and tricks. I wish I could’ve stayed at Cathie’s barn forever. And Bob was great at taking care of the horses as well! Bobcat Farm is truly heaven on earth! Beautiful and peaceful is just the beginning of what my horses and I experience at Cathie and Bob’s family farm. The grounds and paddocks are meticulously cleaned daily. Cathie and Bob provide unparalleled care too every horse every day. Allie is a 31 year old Norwegian Fjord that was been living as a pasture pet for a few years, and was a bit overweight. Allie and I arrived at Bobcat Farm about 6 years ago. As soon as I opened my car door, life was instantly better. Truly a drama free barm, and I have always felt welcome.
With lessons for me, and some training for Allie, things came together nicely. Allie soon lost the excess weight and was in great shape. Just as much as Allie I needed some refresher training. Cathie is an amazing instructor. She explains things in a easy and clear manner, and has amazing patience. Whenever I needed help or guidence Cathie and Bob were there. It was as simple as asking. Bob was Allies Best friend. and she loved him alot! He always made time for her, and gave her extra special care. It made me so happy to see her living her best life. We recently had to say Goodby to Allie Bob called to let me know Allie was not her usual self I called the Vet and headed to the barn. (Vet ascertained most likely neurological, as her hind end was wobbly even as she was bright alert and happily eating hay, and all the treats she wanted. A trip to Tufts would not likely end with positive results because of her age.) Things happened quickly and I needed to make some hard choices. Bob and Cathie never left our side. Their support allowed me to remain calm to decide what was best for Allie. I was able to enjoy my time with Allie. It was not a easy vet visit, but things went as best as it could with the situation. Being able to remain calm made all the difference to me and Allie. I will be forever grateful to Cathie and Bob that Allie was able to live her best life at Bobcat Farm.
Bobcat Farm is an excellent place to board a horse!! The grounds are lovely and well maintained, and the care that Cathie and Bob take of the horses is exceptional. Since our horse arrived there, he has become so much more confident, relaxed, and sociable with other horses. (He was a rescue with some fearful issues in his past, but Cathie’s expertise on horse psychology and behavior helps us to help him become so calm!) The great thing about Bobcat Farm is that they are constantly aware of each horse’s physical and emotional health, and they treat each horse as they treat their own. Bob and Cathie are the first to tell us how our horse has been eating, interacting with other horses, and and behaving. It’s great to be able to come by anytime and ride him, groom him, or work with him. It’s also the kind of environment we prefer for all animals- which they are allowed to behave in the way that they are naturally comfortable, like training without shoes or bits in the mouth. A great value for the personal care that you get, I would recommend Bobcat Farms to anyone with a love of animals. Michelle Fox

Bobcat Farm is a great place to board. Bob and Cathie treat me as family. Most importantly they treat my horse as their family too. My horse is very well cared for by both Bob and Cathie. The farm is a small friendly barn with access to endless trails. Bobcat farm is my sanctuary. Peaceful,quiet, and friendly. My 2 horses and I love it there. They both are well taken care of and looked after. Cathie is a great instructor. I came with a very green horse that only had a few rides under her belt. Today she is doing so well, she amazes me everyday. And to add a little spice to the mix,I decided to take on another horse,that was really only halter broke. She was brought to Bobcat Farm on June 1, 2015. Because of Cathie and her great instruction, and teaching skills, we put the first ride on this little mare in October 2015. She has come such a long way in a short amount of time, I owe her success to the kind, confident, and knowledgeable handling from Cathie. I feel very lucky to have myself and my horses under her care and her instruction. I also want to thank Cathie's other half Bob for all that he does. The list is way too long to write out of the many projects, chores, tasks that is done on a daily basis, all done for the amazing care provided to the horses boarded at their farm. After a long search for the perfect horse barn, I found Bobcat Farm. I immediately loved the peaceful and laidback atmosphere. I had not been riding for about 20 years and needed the one on one attention of a knowledgeable instructor that made me feel save on a horse again. Cathie taught me a lot to where I felt comfortable to lease her horse for the year. An opportunity presented itself where the perfect horse became for sale. With the expert support and help from Cathie, we then picked up my girl. She has been living at Bobcat Farm for the past 2 plus years. Cathie and Bob are very attentive to the horses there and treat them as their own. She loves the 24/7 turnout with ample hay fed every couple of hours. Even durring record snow storms. The ring is plowed once the snow stops falling and the ring is usable sanded and melted in no time, it's raised and has great draining for riding all year. Or hit the trails.

Meet Jasper!
I was thinking about a new horse in a few years or so... This little guy happened along.
We aquired him at 4 months old. He'll be 8 yrs old April 2025. He's earning his keep participating in lessons with Ruger, Cachina, and Frostbite. He's following in thier hoof steps and is
competing in the sport of cowboy mounted shooting since 2022 We started with a few expos where we are shooting at events. He's loving it! In 2023 jasper and I came in top 10 out of 34 riders. While I let my student ride Ruger.

Jasper competed in the open division at the 23rd annual Eastern Regional Pleasure Trail Ride
8 miles at a leisurely pace with judged obstacles There were many horses there, if I had to guess,
I'd say at least 80. We won our division riders over 49 years old, as well a overall! So proud of this guy

Jasper attended his first versatility competiton in the fall of 2018 and WON 1st place! (I am holding Ruger's ribbon on my pocket)Jaspers blue ribbon is on his halter. I was delighted an amazed as he was competing in a field of 9 mature horses. It's the first time I had ever competed a horse "in hand " versatilty class.

Locally I use George Yered and bought my Sundowner gooseneck from him.
George is amazing, he goes above and beyond when he services both of my horse trailers annually.

Registered Quarter Horse Dr. Driftwood aka Ruger. I bought him sight unseen as a 16 month old semi feral gelding. Vanessa Wright came to Bobcat Farm to photograph Cachina for her traveling art show "The Literary Horse" Since I had her captive she took some amazing photos of Ruger as well. Please do not take these particular photos without Vanessa permission.
This is NOT photo shopped, that's Scooter riding on the back. Scooter had ridden Ruger before, but this was our first time that Ruger had both of us on board. He took it all in stride.

This was Rugers first parade, Cachina's second time. I rode Cachina, and ponied Ruger as he had less than a month under saddle, he was so good, and I was even able to fire a few shots off Cachina while ponying Ruger at the judges stand. (I was riding with the MA Six Shooters) At the end of the parade, he was calm and Cachina was a little fried (she did NOT like the Chinese dragons in front of us), I swapped horses, and rode Ruger through downtown Wellesley MA through traffic and over a bridge, and it was like I was riding a veteran parade horse, and with just a rope halter. Ruger and Cachina were in Upton MA Parade, and Ruger and I rode in Grafton MA parade as well.

Very first time at the ocean and Cachina was willing to go in deep.
Frostbite, he's such a love, everyones favorite. He had a rough start in his life. My friend Debi rescued him from a bad
situation, his feet were not cared for, he had kicks and bites all over his body, and he was underweght. When he was vetted, she was told he
could not be ridden until his back healed and he put on weight. He was very sore from "trainers" riding him hard to get him under saddle and sold.
He came to my farm around 2017 leased to a student, after that lease ended, he stayed, and he's been here ever since. His owner was
happy to allow him to continue and be used for horsemanship/riding lessons.
